Diamantina Power Station is a combined-cycle gas turbine electricity generation plant located in Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia. The power station was developed by APA Group and AGL Energy Limited with a total project cost of $570 million. Siemens Energy supplied one steam turbine, two gas turbines and two heat-recovery steam generators.
Construction commenced in 2012 and the station started operating in 2014 with an electricity generating capacity of 302 MW when combined with 60 MW generated by the adjacent Leichhardt Power Station. Sun Engineering was engaged to deliver the construction of the power plant.
